Does WEN by Chaz Dean Really Work?
June 3rd, 2016 by zuma

Recently a writer for Bustle reviewed the popular hair-care product line WEN by Chaz Dean. In case you missed the TV commercials, WEN is a line of cleansing conditioners that clean, moisturize, and style all at once. WEN claims to replace shampoo, conditioner, detangler, leave-in conditioner, and deep conditioner. It is free from hair-damaging sulfates and tame flyaways and frizz with an anti-static complex. The products come in a variety of scents from lavender to fig to the original sweet almond mint. The WEN line also includes a hydrating spray and a deep-repairing hair mask. Wen repairs the damage done by hot styling tools and gives you silky, shiny, voluminous hair.
The blogger who reviewed the WEN cleansing conditioner used the sephora endorsed product for one week on her self-described “fine, thin hair.” She was wary when the bottle suggested using about three times the amount of product as regular shampoo. After each shower and blow dry, she found her hair was softer and bouncier with no frizz. Even her friends complimented her volume and shine. The writer also commented that after using WEN her hair felt thicker and she noticed fewer shed strands in the shower, even with only one use.

Though the writer noticed that her roots felt greasy faster than usual and that her hair didn’t hold curls as long into the day, upon cleansing with WEN her hair went back to being voluminous and shiny. She suggests using the product for morning showers rather than at night to ensure hair looks shiny, not oily, throughout the day.Wen is also available online, visit the Guthy-Renker website.
